Before her career in personal development, Malti has had extensive business experience. Having been through her own challenges and transformation, her authentic sharing of real-life professional and personal examples breathe life into all the modules she facilitates.

Sessions and workshops facilitated by Malti are experiential where the participants get to uncover for themselves what drives their behaviours and actions and hence lead to the outcomes and results they create in their lives and organizations. As the desired outcome varies, these bespoke workshops are uniquely designed based on clients’ needs.

Organizations don’t change, people do, says Richard Barrett - recognized thought leader on the evolution of human values in business and society and the creator of the internationally recognized Cultural Transformation Tools® (CTT) which have been used to support more than 6,000 organizations on their transformational journeys.

Being a trained and certified consultant of Barrett’s Cultural Transformation Tools, Malti uses these tools together with her extensive training in coaching, facilitating transformation through values, neuroscience, somatic work with embodied leadership together with NLP to help Organizations to truly and deeply embed the culture they desire.

What is culture though? Simply put they are the “way things are done around here” Culture is the combined way in which people behave in an organization to achieve their outcomes, and human behaviours are deeply driven by what is most important to us, what we value, hence our Values. Values are the energetic drivers of our aspirations and our intention.

Being able to measure the values of your culture provides a detailed roadmap for building a sustainable, high performing organization. It helps make the intangible – tangible. And as Peter Drucker says, “Culture eats Strategy for Breakfast” (and lunch and dinner)

Who we are, what we hold dear, what upsets us and what underlies our decisions are all connected to our Values.

She is an independent leadership and self-awareness facilitator for deep work independently and she often collaborates with Aberkyn – Change Leadership Partners co-founded by McKinsey & Co, The Mind Gym, Barrett’s Values Centre amongst other firms. She has served countless international organizations in their transformational and learning journeys. Her latest program over the last year and ongoing is a complete Organizational Culture Transformation Journey with a top financial services company in Singapore having personally delivered over 50 workshops just in the last year, supporting the organization to define their Values and Purpose, align on new behaviours and mindsets and now continuing to work on embedding the new culture.

Many of her recent workshops focus on the Values framework to help participants connect with their hearts and souls on a deeper level enabling them to make huge shifts in their behaviour. These shifts create positive impacts on their personal lives, their leadership practices and subsequently their organizations.

Her forte is changing the lens through which people see in order to create new and lasting changes in their lives through body, emotion and language cohesion. By being able to observe oneself from a new perspective, one is then able to help bring about change.

Workshop formats

The workshops would include several modules linked together to help bring about self-awareness, reflections and the motivation to want to create new possibilities. With Whole-Organization or Whole-Systems Transformation, one workshop leads to the next and the entire journey will pave its way forward organically. Malti would very rarely use a prescriptive approach.

Within workshops, the key messages get landed through a series of experiential exercises that often include movement, reflection, paired-share, role-plays and group-activities. The shift needs to be felt deep within and embodied rather than articulated. This is what leads to many “A-Ha” moments in the workshop and an opportunity to declare a new way forward. We have found that often the deep learning continues many days after the workshop and to keep the momentum going, commitments are made and each participant creates an individual action plan in the workshop and if wanted, we can follow up the workshops with personal coaching.

Workshop vs. Training

The key difference between training and workshop facilitating is that trainers tell you what to do whereas facilitators create a space, trusting the wisdom in the team, organization or group of participants. Malti helps create a safe space where participants are invited to speak up and to be authentic. She draws out the unsaid and helps each individual through a personal transformation towards taking responsibility for themselves which in turn, helps to bring about a collective change.
