Malti first got involved in personal development through a life changing workshop inspired by the Human Potential Movement in 1998 and her thirst for self discovery led her to attend Anthony Robbins trainings. This was around the time when Life Coaching had just started to gain international popularity as a professional practice.

Before her career in personal development, Malti had extensive hands-on experience in business when she worked as a senior buyer for an online department store and prior to that as a business development manager for an importer and distributor of home and giftware in Australia. With her business and life experiences, she brings the hard and soft side of human transformation work to her clients and their teams. She speaks authentically from her heart mixing humour and analogies to keep readers, listeners and participants of her experiential workshops engaged using real life examples.

She started writing articles in the late 90’s gaining her international recognition as some were translated into several languages. This led to her first book being published in 2011. Since then, she’s written several books, which received international accolades. Her publishers have signed her up for 2 more titles to be launched in 2017.

Malti has been featured in countless books by other coaches including “Life Mantras” by Preeti Subberwal, “A Bipolar's Journey” by Vijay Nallawalla, “There are no limits: To all that we can achieve” by Neeraj Tyagi and The Dark Voices by Luxna Srinivasan. Malti’s been interviewed live on TV and Radio several times and remains a regular contributor for international publications including The Times of India.

She has coached, mentored & facilitated individuals and teams from companies including Microsoft, ThoughtWorks, BMC Software, SAS, Thales, Baxter, Genpact, Kelloggs, PepsiCo, The British Council and forums of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) and EO (Entrepreneur Organization), to name a few helping them experience deep transformation. They have become strong leaders able to cultivate healthy relationships. Many have also overcome phobias, reignited lost passions, lost weight, kick started new business ventures, replaced disempowering habits and essentially become responsible and mindful. She even developed audio programs and mobile apps to support users in practicing dispositions of power in their bodies affecting their emotions and thoughts and hence their behaviours and results.

Malti lived in Indonesia, spent most of her adult life in Australia and a few years in India before returning home to Singapore. She has a grown up daughter, who is an English teacher and an author of young adult novels. Malti continues to immerse herself in ways to deepen her awareness as she still considers herself a "learner" in the field of personal transformation.
